Golf

Golf is my passion and we enjoy our membership at the Ankeny Golf & Country Club.  I was introduced to the sport as a kid and was on the course everyday.  Today, I still try to get out a few days a week in the summer.  The courses I’ve played and my equipment are shown below.

What's in the Bag

It’s taken me a while to assemble the equipment I desire. Golf is an expensive sport and it’s tough to purchase everything at once. My current set includes:

  • Driver: PXG 0811 Gen4 (9.0 degree)
  • Hybrid: Ping G425 (21 degree)
  • Irons: Ping i20
  • Wedges: Titlest Vokey SM8 (56 & 60 degree). These are my favorite clubs!
  • Putter: 2021 Bettinardi Queen B 6 Putter (Rose Gold)

Iowa State University

I was raised a Cyclone and there was never a question where I was going to school. I have fond memories attending Iowa State University. I was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and was actively involved in fraternity and university organizations and events. We have season football tickets and enjoy tailgating with friends and family.

Life can get busy, but Denise and I always make an effort to have sit down family dinners. For a few minutes it’s a great way for the family to catch up on the day’s events. Continuing a Carleton tradition, I try to make something a little more special on Sunday’s.
